Appearance
Profile, passwords, and recovery
Open Settings → Profile & security in webmail. In the separate mailbox portal, use Security; some controls are available only in webmail.
Display name and photo
Edit Name shown on outgoing mail and choose Save name. This changes your display name, not your email address.
Webmail also supports a profile photo. Choose Upload photo or Replace photo, adjust the crop, and save. Supported formats are JPEG, PNG, and WebP, up to 10 MB.
Change your mailbox password
Enter your current and new passwords under Change password, then choose Update password. Update mail apps that use the old mailbox password if they ask you to sign in again.
Add a recovery address
In webmail, enter an independently accessible address under Recovery address, confirm your current password, and save. It must be different from the mailbox you are protecting. Choose an address you control, since access to it can be used to reset your password.
Use the password recovery option on the sign-in screen if you forget your password. If a recovery address is configured, check that inbox and its Junk folder for the reset message. If you have no recovery address, contact your mailbox support contact. A generic confirmation does not prove that an address exists or that a reset message was delivered.
Create an app password
- Find App passwords.
- Enter a label identifying the device or integration.
- Choose Create (or Create app password in the mailbox portal).
- Copy the displayed password into your mail app immediately. It will not be shown again.
Use Delete beside a credential to revoke it. The device using that credential will need a new password to reconnect. Never include passwords or recovery links in screenshots or support messages.
