Use an alias

An alias is another address that delivers to your mailbox. Open Settings → Aliases in webmail.

Create an alias

If alias creation is enabled for your mailbox:

1. Enter the name before the domain in Alias address, or choose Generate.
2. Add a description so you can recognize its purpose.
3. Choose an expiration under Expires after.
4. Choose Create alias and send a test message to the new address.

Availability depends on your mailbox permissions and the domain's remaining capacity. Contact support if creation is unavailable or the limit has been reached.

Manage an alias

Use Copy to copy an address, Edit to change its description or expiration, and Disable to stop using it temporarily. Expired aliases offer Renew. Disabled aliases still consume capacity; expired aliases do not.

Remove stops delivery to that alias. Update websites or people using the address before removing it.

An alias marked Receive only cannot be used for sending. Aliases available for sending appear in the composer's From menu. Check the selected address before you send.
